We are seeking a Certified Payroll Specialist to join a growing construction company on a contract-to-hire basis. This role ensures compliance with prevailing wage laws, processes payroll, and maintains accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Process certified payroll reports and ensure compliance with Davis-Bacon and prevailing wage requirements
  • Review timesheets, verify job classifications, and handle payroll discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and collaborate with project managers and compliance teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of payroll experience with certified payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws, union requirements, and payroll software
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

Preferred

  • Construction industry experience with certified payroll reporting
